SERVICE FEES TRAINING
SERVICE FEES: MAKING THEM WORK (all employees)
There is no longer any question that the source travel agency revenues is shifting away from supplier commissions and more and more toward fees paid by agency customers for agency services. While the addition of service fees to the agency revenue stream is new territory for many owners, managers and employees, it is familiar territory for Joselyn, Tepper & Associates (JTA). In fact, there is no organization on the planet earth with more knowledge and application experience in the area of service fees than JTA.
As many agencies world wide now know, Dr. Robert W. Joselyn, CTC wrote the visionary book "Pricing, Service Charge & Professional Fee Strategies for the Travel Agency" over a decade ago. Over the past fifteen years, he and Bruce Tepper, CTC have helped a tens of thousands of agencies world wide to successfully add fees to more traditional sources of agency income. This interactive on-site training briefly explores the changing dynamics and challenges of alternative agency revenue streams, with an emphasis on the inevitable and growing role that service fees are playing. The main focus of this training, however, is teaching your staff how to present fees to customers and how to respond to appropriately questions, objections and comments from customers.
